When making my little enclosure for my (green eglu) I am going to edge with the log rolls.

I want to colour them, does anyone know if it is okay to paint them with cuprinol woodstain or possibly paint them with emulsion?

Also in one of the threads I was reading about rubber chips instead of bark chips, will the hens not eat them? What is it I am asking for, rubber chips?

Is there any poisones plants I should remove?

We have a burn that runs under the garden and out under a raised decking area. Will they try to fly off the decking into the burn? I know they can be daft...

Thanks for your time, you can now go back to mindless fun!

We're supposed to paint the WIRs with cuprinol so it must be OK! Don't know about emulsion  .

Dunno, I use Easibed  . (I don't think they eat them!)
