eggalp
Grey has been a bit 'off' since we got our two new hens - about 8 weeks ago now. She laid a few softees then had a break altogether for about a week. Then the softees started again - everyday for about 10 days. She is getting cod liver oil and im still trying to find somewhere to buy limestone flour from! She then laid a lash and hasn't laid anything for about 10 days now. Im not particularly concerned as she looks well, is eating normally, scratching about, dustbathing and doing normal chickeny things - she will be two in august. She is a bluebell - could this be the henopause - or is she a bit young for this? thanks i edited this because i cannot spell
Budgies
If you can't find limestone flour, get cuttle fish bone from any pet supplier (they sell it for parrots and budgies) and grind some in a pestle and mortar. Give her half a heaped teaspoon each day, mixed in with her food.
