muzzie
6 weeks old now still not sure about the one on the left. Does anyone know when they start to crow? How about comb and wattle development when would be the latest I would see red in a cockrel?
Egluntyne
The one on the left does seem to have more headgear than its companions.
Chickvic
Like Egluntine said, more headgear on the one on the left but they are so cute
The Dogmother
That tail looks mighty suspicious. Orps are slower to mature sexually than most birds, so it might be a while before you're sure.
feemcg
I 'think' they're all girls but had an Orp that I sexed as a girl and had very little head gear till 24 weeks, then crowed at
muzzie
I guess I'll just have to wait 29 weeks wow is that slow to mature. I'm sure the other two are pullets so if this is a rooster at least it is only the one. Yes the tail is what first made me question this one I do believe this morning that the saddle feathers are starting to appear. 1 rooster 4 hens sounds good. I will call him Henry if he really is a boy.
