Raina
Hi, I've had my girls a month yesterday, well Lady Lays comb has grown quite a bit, but Orakiahs comb hasn't hardly grown! She was about 16 weeks old when i got her and she's now about 20 weeks and her comb is still really tiny. is this normal, or has she just got a small comb? (can get pics if needed) Thanks in advance! The Dogmother
She may just be slightly younger than your other hen. Chooks (like humans and other animals) all mature at different rates. Don't worry, she'll grow red head furniture in her own time.
katieadams
Our aptly named amber star, Mrs Little, has a tiny comb where our other two have much more, they are all around 25 weeks now. The other two have just started laying and she hasn't so I think she's just the baby of the bunch!
