Worming Chicks

Recommended Posts

I bought two chicks from auction which I estimated to be between 6-10 weeks and that Claret has said look about 10 weeks so we have a rough idea of their age between us!

I got my Flubenvet from a fellow forum member so do not know if I can use it on chicks or not, does anyone have any idea please?

Hi Tasha, I think it was me who sent you the Flubenvet and I've just had a look on the container and although it doesn't mention the age of chickens it does say that pheasants can be given Flubenvet from the age of 3 weeks. So I am presuming it is the same for chickens.

Hope this helps.

I've no idea, but I assume you can use the same dose if you're doing by mixing it with the pellets as they will get the right amount compared to the amount of feed they eat.

Had a look on google and other people have given it to chicks aged 8-10 weeks :)

thanks Lewis though they do eat TONS! no other chook I own young or old eats as much as these two Pekins

  I can imagine.

Some of them look like they're all feathers, but they're actually really fat and have hardly any feathers.
