Plum
Has anyone tried making a frame for the cube run roof so that rain water runs off the shower curtains in one direction only (downhill). The frame would sit on one side and then put the shower curtains from it across and down the other side (the side of the prevailing wind and most of the rain). Just an idea because I have decided that anything I do in life someone has done before so ........................?
Ain't Nobody Here
I think you may be the first on this occasion . I've certainly not heard of anyone trying this (sounds like a good plan though!)
Plum
Well ANH after trying out a prototype in all that rotten rain with great success. I have now made prototype 2 and praying for rain. NO I'M NOT honest. and a couple of pics of my girls as I've not put them on for a while. Grackle playing I-spy and the others looking down their noses

TAJ
I use clear corrogated plastic panels - I just have one end overlapping the cube roof and that provides enough of a slop for the water to run off the other end. Tracy
Plum
I was looking at those in Wickes and it's still going round in my mind. The ground slopes to the left so I'm trying to drain the water to that side so it goes into the soil not all draining into the run. This set up is easy to put up when rain is forcast so I can ponder a bit longer. What have you put down the sides? have you used shower curtains or leave it open? This winter I had 2 or 3 Ikea shower curtains and bungies which I put up or down depending on the direction of the rain. It kept really dry until May, then the run got really wet. I can't work out why. I know we had rain early in the year if not as heavy.
