When out chicks were in the egg hubby played the guitar to them, & as hatching day approached they started to rock their eggs & get excited at hearing the music

 

Now the chicks are back home hubby is playing to them again & they seem to remember being played to ..... Not scientific, I know, but interesting all the same

my two ex-batts definitely like music! If they can hear the stereo on or a guitar being played, they're in the lounge like a shot!

 

Luckily they haven't managed to poo on the carpet yet.....

We had a bbq at the weekend and I brought my mp3 player out and was really surprised when KO joe kept jumping up onto the table and wiggling her head to the music, she was really interested. The other 2 didn't seem interested at all. Just out of interest she really liked the new madness cd, but wasn't so keen on green day

Hmmm... my chickens are terrified of even the sight of my guitar, and also seem to hate my playing - not good for the ego!
