KateB
I'm very new to gardening and have very. very little space in my garden so will have to plant most, if not all, of my vegetables in pots, tubs and containers but does anyone know what (if anything) I could plant now in the wonderful world of veggies? Also, does anyone have experience of owning an allotment? Once I've practised my skills a little, I'm seriously considering it in the hope of becoming relatively self sufficient for at least part of the year. Any advice of either topic would be much appreciated.
motherhen
Hi Kate At the moment I have growing in pots lettuce, toms, potatoes, courgettes, climbing french beans, blueberries, spring onions, carrots, peas, strawberries, peppers, basil, coriander, onions and probably more I have forgotten Just remember to water regularly, never let the compost dry out, and use an organic liquid feed - bought or home made comfrey'nettle
KateB
Thanks Jane. Could I plant any of these now or is it too late in the season?
