deejmum Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 (edited) I went for a couple of blue egg layers (silverlines/ skylines oh I cant remember I was too excited) Anyway I came out with 3 blue egg layers plus a silver nick, a speckledy,and a lovely white star!! We have our hens in a stable(yes I know people normally keep horses in them ) We have our eglu cube inside the stable now, it used to be in the outside run. They dont really need it in there I dont think but they do tend to sleep in it. Although the new ones slept on top of it last night! There are plenty of other places for them to roost in the stable! They have a hole knocked in the back wall so thet can get out to their run. We are lucky enough to live on an ex farm, so there is still room for more. According to their website, their first batch of 2009 pure breeds are available from the 22nd of August. First come, first served. Their white-laced wyandottes are absolutely beautiful...
