Bargain alert! Cheap sunshade idea

Recommended Posts

I'm feeling pleased with myself, as I've had An Idea :dance:

I bought a 'Garden Tidy Sheet' for £3 from a well-known supermarket beginning with T (!), and when I got it home and opened it out, I realised it'd make a good sunshade for an Eglu or Cube run :idea: .

Cluckingham Palace doesn't need one as it's shaded by a tree, but I thought I'd pass on the thought.

It's made of that tightly woven plastic material that those giant, checked laundry bags are made of, and is in a mid-green colour, so it blends in well in the garden. It even has handles sewn in to each corner, which would make it easy to attach to the run. It's 140cm x 140cm, and you can find it in the gardening/barbecue area.

Let me know if you get one :D

Oooh very clever of you! We have plenty of trees in the run which give plenty of shade plus keep the ground dry enough for perfect dustbathing!

We did resort to using shower curtains as shelters last year when we had 40 days of rain! (well it felt like 40days!)

Well, get you :lol::lol::lol:

P.S. Having a husband who fits bathrooms will either mean you have a lovely bathroom yourselves at home, or the other scenario of half-finished tilework, floor taken up and not yet replaced, pipes half re-positioned..... dare I ask.... :D
