Waklert 150mg: Boosting Wakefulness and Focus

I lost Betty the other week when she had to be PTS.

She was thin. This may have been due to bullying (?) or she was maybe being bullied because she was thin from an underlying problem. On her last day she was unable to pass an egg or poop properly because my other girls had pecked her botty very badly.

 

So now I'm down to three chooks.

Mabel - new bottom chook

Babs - number two

Gladys - top chook and primary bottom pecker

 

Noticed yesterday that mabels egg was smeared in blood. Thinking the worst i look closely at her bott but can't see any evidence of pecking, thankfully. I was thinking that her bott had been pecked on the inside a little like poor Betty was.

 

If this is not the case (There was no sign of blood that I could see on any of my chooks) will Mabel be ok? She's been laying for a year and has never had blood on her eggs before. Should I have cause to worry?

Eggy one of My Pepperpots sometimes lays eggs streaked in blood, I think it is a broken vien that causes it a bit like heamoroids in humans maybe. She has been fine for ages and has never had any ill effects.

She may have just torn an internal vessel when passing the egg.....and a little blood goes a long way.

I'm obviously expecting the worst since losing Betty.

I'll keep an eye on her though. Mabel was her best buddy so she's a little lost at the moment (My two other girls - the exbatts stick together) but I'll sneak some extra grapes to her this evening and make up a porridge with some chicken spice and life guard for a little extra pep.
