4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I just thought I'd share this with everyone as I never thought it could happen.

 

I am away from home at the moment but fortunately my fella works from home so was around to see that the heavy rain was flooding our garden! We have had it become very muddy in the past but today was like nothing before.

 

He said the rain was so heavy that the garden was flooded a few inches high in just half an hour! The water is so high that it has flooded the Eglu! Fortunately the hens were under some bushes in the border where it wasn't flooded (as they free range all day) and we are fortunate that we have just collected a Cube. So Neil (my modest hero, who has the new title of 'Super Hen Saviour Guy'- his words) rescued them and put them in the Cube.

 

Hope "Ooops, word censored!"ody else has this experience. Scary stuff!

Thank goodness he was there . The outcome could have been so awful otherwise .

 

Maybe Omlet should market the cube as "floodproof" too .
