Hi

One of our new girls has been badly henpecked and will need to be kept completely seperate from the others (even her sister hen) for a few weeks. Does enyone have an eglu and run we could hire for a few weeks - we are in Surrey and can collect.

We have had her in the bathroom since friday and she has been very calm and healing nicely, bit odd going to to the toilet with a chicken looking at you!!

Unfortunatly no one had a eglu to hire but we managed to get a (pink eglu) today from ebay and when she is all better and in with the others we may start to hire it out as well! (unless Mrs Slats comes home with more chickens  )

that would have been nice if we had seen it in time bit far from us though :(

Managed to get one from London which was just over an hours drive away, did a bit of a deal as we could get there straight away and pay cash :)

cost per egg so far is quite high with this chicken!! we cant even have the ones she is laying as she is on medication :wall:

I gave up worry about that long ago, it's best to leave Tesco, Sainsburys and Waitrose to fight that one out. I really don't feel there's any comparison to be made anyway, not even with the top quality supermarket eggs.
