smudgley
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi all, We are thinking about getting a Rcom incuabtor, but are a little unsure if we should get the Rcom Suro, Rcom20, or Rcom20 Pro. Anyone got one and which do you think is best? Someone told me at a poultry auction they are fantastic and you can programme in "hen" and it will do all the settings automatically, but I'm not sure now which model he was referring to.... would that be just with the Rcom Pro? Thanks - confused Smudgley
Lewis
Someone told me at a poultry auction they are fantastic and you can programme in "hen" and it will do all the settings automatically, but I'm not sure now which model he was referring to.... would that be just with the Rcom Pro? I'm pretty sure you can do it with all of them. The PRO lets you plug it into a computer and get graphs of what the eggs are doing with their weight etc. The Suro has a big manual turner cradle and a humidity pump, but the 20 and pro have a sliding floor, its up to personal choice. People have said the suro is really easy to clean, but I've read about one having a dodgy humidity pump.
craftyhunnypie
Rcom 20 is very good. Emma.x
red house chickens
We're using the 3 egg incubator for our school project. Seems very good so far. You tell it what species bird egg you've put in there, and off it goes. All you have to do is keep the water topped up (every 5 ish days so we're doing it on Fridays and mondays to be safe). Rachel.
