4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Does anyone else get flies around there chicken pens? If so how do you manage them or get rid of them?

So far I don't have a fly problem. Don't know if this is anything to do with it but the floor of my run is covered in wood chips & have hemcore in the poo tray. I wipe over the eglu with citronella & also hang a cloth soaked in citronella in the run. Might just be the cooler climate or luck

I use citronella too and find it quite effective.
