tommorow is the due date of my quail eggs and i am hoping for at least 4 but when i candled today i had a look at all the eggs i thought were fertile and 3 out of 5 were clearwhen 2 days ago they were black inside

 

the brooder is set up in the shed and the hutch is under refurbishment for their needs

You set them on Friday 29th (day 0), and they should hatch on day 18 so thats Tuesday 16th Only 2 more sleeps though.

You might get a few a day early though, I did

I'm sure I remember you said you set them on the evening you got them, so wait a while and they may hatch this evening which will be all the time, or you may have to wait until tomorrow.

thanks everyone but i dont think there will be any quail as i have just candled the eggs and they are all clear so i might give up on them tommorow and get a few more eggs and try again
