Wanted - Eglu Cube Mk1 Roosting Bars

well tikkin the ex batt started laying on sat and also another one yesterday which was a real suprise. .

 

yesterday i cleaned out the eglu properly and realised i had run out of straw (not sure where that bag went) so i filled the nest box with shredded paper.

 

tikkin kept going in and out of the eglu this morning but i did not think much of it.

 

anyway got to the petshop this morning and got another bag of straw so changed the paper for straw. anyway bit later i noticed she was back in the next box so i just went up and checked and she has layed another egg! so thats three now! but she obviosuly was not at all impressed with the paper and waited until she had some nice comfy straw. fussy chicken!!! :) x

Mine all like the straw in nest box.. except Florence who would rather lay in the droppings tray which has some shavings and Glynis who lays on a pile of rocks every day!

 

This morning I found one chook sitting on top of another two trying to all lay at once, o well it worked so no complaints here!
