My little black has developed a (genetic - I think as from 4 weeks) crossed beak. Sticking with it for now until I find out if s/he is a girl or boy. She is growing fine at the moment and it isn't too pronounced yet.

As long as shes ok I don't think its a problem, you should avoid breeding from her though.

 

Over time the 2 sides could wear down and make it a bot more normal looking?

I think its quite cute though

I have a table bird with a crossed beak, she is pretty much fully grown, it has not caused her any problems at all

I'll keep her (if a girl ) as long as she is eating okay, definately putting on the weight even though it has worsened over the last week. Don't intend to breed from her . So far so good - it is a bit cheeky looking I presume she might have a problem when we move to pellets rather than mash.

 

Do you think boy or girl? Difficult at this stage and I have no comparism as only one black hatched
