i suspect this problem has been asked before so apologies if so. our tree is laden and I suspect we are in for a glut. last yr I wrapped unbruised apples in newspaper and kept in garage which I suspcet was too warm for them. i used windfalls and froze a lot of them. We have a tiny shed which i suspect may have a few mice living in it but would be cooler. apart from newspaper any other good ideas for storage away from mice. Any ideas gratefully received

Wrap up your apples as you did last year, but then top the box with mesh to stop the pesky mice have a mid winter nibble?
