How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Well......i treated Gin and OSH for lice the first week of May and thought I had the problem solved but Gin has them again The eggs never went from the base of her featers but i assumed that they were dead and would fall off.....apparently not!

 

Did I read somewhere that the eggs take six weeks to hatch...or am I making that up?

 

So....should I treat again with the Johnson stuff or something else?

 

And how do I get the eggs off the feathers?

 

Help please....my fluffy lass is uncomfy!

I snipped off the feathers that had eggs on them. Definitely a two person job .

 

I've only ever used Johnsons - it seemed to work for me.

It's always best to treat them twice, seven days apart as that's how long it takes for all the eggs to hatch. After that, the odd preventative squirt is all that's needed.
