Yolky
Ignore the rabbit in this picture lol but could this be used (if altered to add perches) to house or 3 quail? Dimensions LxDXH : 42 x 51 x 43 cm, 16.5 x 20 x 17 inches (approx)
Lesley
That is exactly what ours have! We haven't added perches inside but they do have branches outside which they tend to ignore. We use a deep layer of Aubiose inside it.
Yolky
Thats great, thanks Lesley. I now have a plan, I just need to hope that the husband goes along with it lol. It will have to wait until after my holiday though.

rufusrooster
got one of these yesterday, well almost identical, ive added some treads to the ramp for easier access (dont know how good quaill are at climbing ) and fitted some luxurious underlay to the ceiling for when/if they boing. i'm also going to make the door a bit smaller and fill as many of the cracks/crevices (where red mite might get into) with sealant. this will be home to 5 or 6 quaill, not that big i know but if they only use it when its really bad weather i'm sure it will be ok ? what do you think ?
