emmamakeup
I was actually getting used to having my three chooks around and became exhausted at the thought of wanting of just one egg from the girls. Well over the last few days they've been squating when I've approached to pick them up and somebody told me (probably on here) that they do that when they are in lay or getting ready to lay. This afternoon I arrived back from a trip out and checked the nest box and hey presto - an egg!!!!! I ran round the garden like a child on Christmas morning, called the hubby and asked him to bring Olivia out to collect it - she was over the moon. As we were about to have tea I popped the pan on and cooked our first egg which was split between the three of us. I can't believe it has happened!!! My chickens actually do lay eggs - but the question is - which one????
