4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Sorry for asking more questions, but here goes...

 

We have decided to go for a cube and to have it static rather than move it around the garden. The questions I have are:

 

Is it best to be placed on the earth or slabs?

What is best to go on the ground - we are thinking about wood chips or Aubiose ???

Should the run area be covered so that whatever i put down stays dry?

I use wood chips in my run product call cushion bed similar to easibed got from a feed supplier cheeper that going to one of the diy sheds £4:50 for 25Kg

Paving slabs are very good as it makes it all much easier to clean.

When I had my cube static it was on rubber chippings, as easy to hose down and they dried quickly.
