eggalp Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 i maybe just over worrying about nothing but someone at my work has got swine flu i am just wondering whether we can go near our chickens to feed them, egg collect etc if we catch swine flu? does anyone have any info on this? Porkypie Posted July 14, 2009 Share Posted July 14, 2009 I thought that in order for flu to pass from one species to another i.e. humans to birds, the birds would need to be concurrently infected with avian flu, which MAY allow infection if the virus mutates?
