Not sure that I am allowed to post this if not very sorry mods.

 

I have noticed in my RHS Tatton guide that

 

The Little Hen Rescue will have a charity show garden at RHS Tatton next week. It's purpose is to show people that it is possible to have a beautiful garden and still have free ranging hens whilst promoting the charity and work that it does with battery and barn hens.

 

I'm definitely going and it will interesting to see their cause.

Yes their advert in the RHS Tatton guide did puzzle me. In my personal experience it is impossible, my chooks were forever messing my borders up until they were banished to the paddock!

I will look out for that garden, I am going to tatton on weds with my mum. I have promised her a chook free gardening day........... but chooks in a garden aren't my fault are they .

If it's sunny I'll be wearing my new posh linen Tilley hat that my mum bought me for x-mas.

 

I'll be the large, red puffing girl trying to keep up behind my shamefully fit mother who'll be crying "come along, keep up, lots more to see!". .

 

I think I may also wear my omlet badges, just in-case I bump into any omleteers .
