Can I use Omlet Glug and Grub on wooden coop?

I need somethign to hang off the wire as at the minute with the wet weather they're having so much fun s"Ooops, word censored!"ing up the wood chippings to look for grubs that the food and water containers are covered in the stuff.

I've tried moving them up higher on some paving slabs stacked up but they wtill get filled with wood chippings lol.

I like the idea of the grub and glugs where you can put them in the dishwasher and they look pretty weatherproof :F

Has anyone managed to fix them onto something which isn't a cube or eglu?

Thanks :D

btw.. an egg every day from martha but no interest in Wendy or Delia! lol

B&*Q sell aluminium angle that is quite cheap .If you screw this to a piece of wood about thi same width of the angle and bore two holes in the timber then thread bolts thru the wood with wing nuts and biggish washers you should be able to hook the grub and glub onto the side of your wooden coop. Hopethis makes sense

Ikea kitchen utensil holders for me

KROKEN Rail - £1.95

I have one of the first ever Aviaries4U devices. I had to add the extra 'wire straps' to stop the dispenser being knocked over if/when the girls tried to walk in behind it.

Works well for me and my chooks.

Others (like ANH for example), have modified theirs to fit with their run design. Picture from ANH's library below, I hope she won't mind me linking to it .

I used the Ikea rails as suggested by Redwing; they are very sturdy and the grub and glub fit on as if they were designed to go together. I ordered them online and they came very quickly; they are very reasonably priced at roughly about £2.99 each :D
