Did anyone see this last night? I'm a bit of a horse fan

It was really interesting e.g. the ceremonial riding, and Alan Titchmarsh was on a horse

Prince Philip was funny and it was interesting to hear some details about the jobs involved in running the show and managing the horses and the involvement the Queen/Prince Phillip have with horses.

I always thought that the trooping of the colour was a great spectacle and it was a shame that the queen had to abandon it.

I remember those fallen horses in Hyde Park so many years ago. A friend who was there still speaks of the horror.

On a lighter note I got shouted at by Prince Phillip when I got in the way of his trap while walking the dog in Windsor Great Park

Sounds like a reference to the days when there were only 2 very popular channels BBC or ITV......

don't worry I remember and I'm in my 20s

 

It's on ITV player (which is notoriously bad). I recorded and watched top gear.

I like the way the Queen walked around the stalls with her scarf on her head and actually talks to people .
