eggregiousness
OK I've ordered all the stuff my (2) chooks will need when they arrive next month. I have totalled everything up and performed a complex calculation It appears that the chooks will have paid for themselves by the time I reach the age of 187 - provided that I don't have to buy them any food after the one bag I have on order

eggregiousness
I'm not going to think about any more. Why do I have these crazy ideas? Maybe they are the most expensive eggs- but hopefully they are laid by the healthiest and happiest hens?
Cooks
I never worry about the cost of the eggs, they are my pets, the eggs are little presents they give me
eggregiousness
That's it! The eggs will be just a bonus

beulah59
Load all the cost onto the first egg - my first egg will have cost us about £250 ... but the rest will be free - until I buy the next bag of feed, anyway!
eggregiousness
My goodness - that egg was a bargain! I've spent a lot more than that..... Internet shopping is TOO easy! Despite my misgivings I am really eggsited about the new arrivals! Coop to arrive a week on Friday. Chickens a few days after that. Just one small blot on the horizon - I haven't actually got round to telling my husband what I've done......I'm a bit scared to be honest...... simon_blackwell1
Ha ha, yes - they are extemely expensive. Eglus cost a fortune and all to save money on eggs!!! Fortunately chickens make great pets, which is where I push all the cost in my imaginary book keeping so the eggs work out cheaper!
The good lifers
oh, think of how much people spend on pooches! the price of an eglu alone pays for a pedigree! and dogs don't lay eggs!! EGLU.... Because you are worth it!!!
