mad house Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 My chooks have just been given tylan as one of them has a respirirtry infection. instr are .5g in 1 ltre of water and to remove other water. my brood went through 4 litres of medicated water yesterday. Does anyone know if they can have normal water after the 1 litre of medicated water. if not the dopy vet hasnt given me nearly enough medication. Chucky Mama Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 TYLAN Soluble is administered in the drinking water at a concentration of 0.5 g per litre to provide 50-200 mg/kg bw, depending on the age and the water consumption of the birds. Sorry but I don't know whether they are allowed plain water as well - best check with your Vet. I had only had her 5 months, and she was never quite right. She was one of the batch I purchased from a certain place back in February ....
