Phew! great advice on here saved the day!

Recommended Posts

Dakota my 13week Chick/hen had a squishey, swollen, smelly crop :( After reading this forum's advice I have spent the last 3 days massaging her crop; making apple puree; spooning in bio yoghurt and feeding maggots (yuk :vom:)

This morning her crop is back to normal and she has returned to her usual self :)

Well I say usual.......... after all her recent attention she has changed from a timid, flighty chick into a completely soppy, tame, attention seeking girl who follows me everywhere...... including into the house

......and this is a problem  ? I'd love to have a chook who accepted my attention happily! Mine all follow just in case I have a tasty snack hidden in my pocket then turn tail once they realise I don't :lol:
