Falkor
YAY!!!! and you are getting a purple one....(my next cube will be purple ) Great news about the WIR too! very lucky ladies! Regarding the planting.....might it be a better idea to plant up pots and put them on the slabs? This means they will be higher up so out of the way of scrathcing feet and also if you find the girls take a liking to eating them you can move them away from the run so money not wasted How about planting up purple trugs with things like rosemary and lavender, my girls don`t touch ours. So still co-ordinating!
Staffordmum
Beat me to it! Rosemary and lavender smell divine - anything to mask the small of chicken poo is a bonus! Congratulations (I just luv purple Cubes!), Happy Birthday and good luck Kind rgds, Pat & Steve

Ain't Nobody Here
Congratulations . There is another thread running about lemon balm in chicken runs . I have a pot which the girls haven't touched so plan to put it in the run somwhere. (You just have to watch they don't dry out if you have a roof on - I empty the glug onto my WIR plants every evening!)
