I think, because its very bitter, that if you use too much they won't drink it. I think the dosage is just 2 drops per litre - but im sure someone will tell us if i am wrong!

You use 1 or 2 drops per litre. I always use citricidal in my girl's drink because apparently it helps their immune systems. It is suitable for human use so it wont do any damage to your chickens i dont think.

I also use 2 drops per litre, I only use this to cure sniffles though (Its very good at that) so I couldnt comment on it as an everyday tonic. I use poultry tonic for an everyday tonic which is great.

 

I think you can use it for as long as you like.

I ended up putting 4 drops in the glug (put a 2 liter bottle of water in)

 

 

I'm only using it as one of my girls is sneezing & coughing (guessing it's a cold?)

well folks I bought mine from Omlet the directions say 4-12 drops in a full glass of water 1-3 times a day and kids half that dose.

sooooo.

I assumed a glass approx half a pint...

soooo put 12 drops in approx 2.5 litres of water.

Mine drink this no problem, & as the Johnsons anti peck spray (very bitter never bothered them or stopped them, then thought the bitter wouldn't e a problem!

Just to add that I do put it in daily to 2 coop cups, as I have one with dammaged air sacs.

The other "main water" container has Orego Stim in it!
