Post-Broody Buffie's looking better!

Recommended Posts

Sha - I can't offer you any advice because its not something I have experience of, so I really hope the PP advice is helping you and Buffie. I'm sure you've looked at people's experiences up on here (mind you the search function was really slow last time I tried to use it....) Is it worth starting another thread?

However, I continue to offer you and Buffie my best wishes and hopes. Are the smalls OK?

They are all fine thank you Daphne, all long legged and growing feathers almost as you watch them! I just wish I could get close enough to get some good piccies but they run away so quickly I never manage it :wall: !

Buffie seemed to have stopped drinking today & after I'd pumped about 6 or so syringes of Avipro/apple saucey water into her, she settled down as if for a nap...I was beside myself thinking she was slipping away, but I had to go & collect DD from gymnastics, so I locked them all up & left her in peace...when I got home she had drained her water cup and was wandering around as though she didn't have a care in the world :anxious:

I put some greens in the run as I was doing for the big girls (who devoured them  ) & Blossom (who ignored them  ) and she squealed & called the babies over for a leaf ripping lesson...........I really have no idea what is going on with that little girl, "Ooops, word censored!"ody else has seen her at her worst so they all think I'm barking!

I gave her another dose of Baytril and more apple saucey/avipro water again before bed and have crossed everything for a positive result in the morning

One good thing to come from all this handling is that she only mutters now when I pick her up rather than screaming as if I'm murdering her...the babies are still terrified of me of course :anxious:

BTW, I haven't done the PP advice yet, I needed more than one pair of hands...and not those of a small child either, so if it needs to be done tomorrow DH will have to help :boohoo:

Once again many thanks for your kind thoughts, Omlet power is keeping us going at the moment :anxious:
