We've been on holiday for a week and my family were letting the chooks out in the morning and closing their door in the evening. My mum decided she'd let them out of the run for a bit while she was in the house (as we do all the time) - when she came to put them away there was no sign of Dulcie, my little white Pekin bantam - she's just vanished! We've only had her six weeks and I'm so about her disappearing. My family doesn't feel complete now, although the other three don't seem to be bothered.
