chooklady
I am sad that there is no Valentine Warner to watch tonight. I really enjoyed the series, he's a bit like a naughty big kid but I thought there was something quite appealing about him. Has anyone tried any of his recipes, I've made the beurre blanc and the upside down apricot flan and orangey honey buns.

Seagazer
I really enjoyed his series but OH said he put him off eating his food not quite sure why. His food looked really yummy and he's so enthusiastic, its great.
Lydia
I like watching him, in fact me and hubby have bets on how many times he'll say "yum" and how many "wows" there'll be However, I requested his book for the Autumn series last Christmas and, to be honest, it's awful. Half the recipes from the series aren't in there for a start and it's written very very badly - cmpletely impossible to follow. So, it's free to a good home if anyone wants it? chooklady
I think the recipes are written quite plainly and I wish I had recorded the first series. The second is firmly on tape to be watched again. It wasn't until I had watched some of the programs again that I suddenly linked it with a certain recipe, they are not flash names and some sound quite boring, but I have to say I like him a lot and I hope there are more series to come.
