Harriet88
As if the 4 chicks weren't enough to keep me busy while the family is on holiday... One of the cats came back for breakfast minus her pregnancy belly, I now have 4 kittens too! I can't see my week off work being a nice quiet one anymore! Not that I mind, kittens and chicks are great, what more could I want!?

Seagazer
Oh bless their little cotton socks, how cute. Mum looks a bit tired poor thing. Funnily enough my first cat Smudge who was also tabby had 4 kittens. Her OH was my black and white cat Oscar and each of the kittens were so different from one another. Love your little chicks names (I take it they are West, Monroe, Garland and Crawford!), they look so sweet.

Harriet88
Thank you. Unfortunately the little cow print looking one didn't make it. She semed fine yesterday but this morning the was gasping for air and not moving. She felt incredibly thin so tried to give her some formula but she wouldnt take it. RIP Buttercup. The Dogmother
That's so very sad. I was just going to say how sweet she was
Harriet88
I know, I would've loved to watch her grow up. We lost another one later the same day (The little tabby). Such a shame but mum is young and I think thats maybe why they are not as strong as they should be. She is really focussing on the other 2 now so I'm hoping they make it... The Dogmother
Do you know if it was her first season? Kit deaths sometimes happen with young mums who conceive on their first season.
Seagazer
Oh no - I'll keep my fingers crossed for the others. It does happen quite often I think. My parent's first cat, Katie had a litter of 4, 3 white and 1 tabby and all the white kittens died.
