Guest
Hi Mine use to free range and in 4 1/2 years I never wormed my ducks and we ate the eggs and apart from foot injuries we or our neighbours never got ill! I dont know if anyone else will disagree with this. Perhaps I was lucky indie

Guest
Hi again Yes not sure what is right with worming ducks at all? However I have wormed my chickens too and I know on some of the chicken postings others have seen worms in their chicken faeces. Sorry not being too helpful am I, I just know this question has been asked previously and it was very open ended answer...if I had ducks again I personally would worm them only if they became run down etc or I saw worms indie
Christian
I am sure that Flubenvet is suitable for ducks! best to check on the pack first though. Not at home at the moment, so can't check for you.

Not at home at the moment, so can't check for you. http://poultrykeeper.com/poultry-medication/poultry-medication/flubenvet-used-for-worming.html http://www.callducks.net/worms.htm Hi I found these links where they do use it however on my Flubenvet tub it says its for Chickens/Pheasants/Geese and Turkeys(no mention of ducks) , personally I would use it off label for ducks if I needed to use something, better than nothing if they have a worm burden, but obviously that is just my opinion and not what it says on the box! I looked on a couple of other forums and members do use it for ducks as well??? You can buy Flubenvet off the internet ie Petmeds. Check the strength though as I know it did come in different sized boxes and dosages. As it states though on the link seek the advice of the vet? Still curious now ..must be something out there indie
Lesley
Katie Thear recommends using Flubenvet for worming in her book on Ducks. We've never wormed the ducks and they have been fine.
