Harriet88 Posted August 30, 2009 Share Posted August 30, 2009 A few days ago Mitzi, my favourite chicken!, was stolen (I think) from the run. I looked for hours to find her but not a sign, all the others were still in the run and there were no feathers anywhere... we were all out in the morning so the only thing we can think of is that she was stolen as we have a footpath past our garden. Mitzi is a silver partridge pekin and is around 9-10 weeks old so still pretty small. We live near to Dorking, if anyone has any info on her whereabouts I would be ridiculously grateful!!! Ring the police, chicken theives usually steal chickens because they think the matter is so small that "Ooops, word censored!"ody will report them, so ring the police im you are near cetain she has been stolen. I would invest in some cheapish looking fake security cameras, or something to deter theives. I have to padlock my chicken run every night and even during the day if I pop out as people round here are likely to steal anything they can get their grubby little hands on. Does make me though!!!!!
