I am forever throwing away lettuce leaves, rocket etc.

 

Does anyone have anything that helps keep them fresher for longer?

I put mine into a Lock & Lock box, & find it keeps fresher for longer

I think it helps if you buy whole lettuces rather than leaves in bags, which have already been split up and could have been damaged when they were sorted and cleaned. Of course that doesn't work for rocket, which only comes as leaves! I usually wash lettuce and keep it either in a roomy plastic bag or a salad spinner in the fridge and it normally keeps for a week or so.
