Cleaning roosting bars

Recommended Posts

Yep same here. Give 'em a shake and stick them to one side while I clean the rest of the Eglu.

I normally leave it all in the sun to dry off a bit but if it's raining I just give it all a quick wipe over with an old towel. Not perfectly dry but nor are they if they are out in the rain before bed so I imagine a little wetness wouldn't kill them. :D

I think I have just got a bit lazier over the years

I lay mine on the floor and pressure wash them whilst brushing them with a stiff broom. The best way I have found to clean them!

Then give them a good shake, set them aside to dry a little and finally wipe them over to dry the last little bits just before I put them back.
