Charlottechicken
Just an update on this now I have the full facts: The presence in the house is quite benign and does not cause a nuisance to the occupiers, just the occasional draught, shadow or feeling of slight pressure. She seems to be the previous owner/occupier of the property who did not die there but owned the house until her death, a lady by the name of Elsie. She was a piano teacher and the piano was left in the property when my friends ex bought it, he will not sell the piano (I think he thinks something bad will happen!). The neighbours sometimes hear the piano being played when the house is unoccupied The owner has not heard the piano being played though. He is not bothered by the presence but I have passed all the helpful info on to him via my friend for him to decide what is best. Just thought you all might be interested! Karen, I think it is amazing that you have your man that walks the side of your house. I am sure he hill carry on walking the same route even with your new extension
