Recommended Posts

Yes that is a good book, if you havent already bought one I have a copy you can have, just pm me

I bought about ten books on puppies when I bought our pup and one book I came back to again and again was this one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Puppy-Parenting-Expert-Guide-What/dp/0600614263

Its written almost like a blog of the chap raising his puppy and has loads of good advice in it and we have a very well thumbed copy that I wont be parting with ever :D

We have recently(well 2 months ago) got a puppy and the book i got our of the library when we got her was the 'puppy parenting' one and the one i got out last week just to read up on training now she is a bit older is the gwen bailey one!

I really liked how the puppy parenting one is set out as it is divided up into ages up to a year old so its useful to see how the pups behaviour changes. The diary part that it has is also really good to read as it makes it more 'real'. His dog destroyed lots of things, Lola hasn't reached that stage yet

We are off to try out another puppy training class tomorrow with Lola!
