Will Miles and Anna ever get together?

Recommended Posts

KANNIE!!! I had NO idea there was a one off planned.

I'm jumping up and down with joy!!!!

I loved This Life. Every year, ever since it was made, I asked for it on video. I'm still asking for it, but on DVD. Not sure if it's available as I'd given up and forgotten about it.

I'm writing it on the calendar so as I don't forget. Oh brilliant!! Andrew Lincoln will always be Egg to me.....After Life, Teachers or not!

I hope Milly had the sense to dump O'Donnell and realise what a catch Egg really was.....

Ramon Tikeran (Ferdy) reads stories on Cbeebies now. He is a bit gorgeous these days and would definatly be on my calendar of gorgeous long haired men.

Oh...brilliant!!

Jackie: How's it going? Been thinking of you recently.....hope all is well xx

Done a bit of googling....

here's a snippet....and I'm gutted, GUTTED, that Ferdy has gone to meet his maker..

Milly and Egg have a four-year-old son, Miles owns a chain of boutique

hotels, Anna is still married to her career and smoking for Scotland and

Warren is a life coach. Like all of us, they've changed with time, but they're

still fundamentally the same.

The housemates meet up at a funeral (no prizes for guessing whose, given

Ferdy's absence). Egg has written a novel based on the turbulent times in

Benjamin Street and is being filmed by a documentary-maker, who

suggests a reunion. So Miles, eager to show off his country pile, is a willing

host.

FAB FAB FAB FAB FAB FAB!!

Been waiting with baited breath for the reunion episode (hopefully another series!! PLEASE!)

I have just bought Joe the This Life Box set (series 1 and 2) for his birthday from HMV online £29.99 delivered. It's cheaper than buying Series 2 separately as we already have S1 on DVD.

We are very big fans and LOVE Anna - did you all watch the re-runs on BBC2 these last few weeks!

Roll on 2nd Jan!

Yes we did! We missed it the first time round, but loved it now! And I agree - Anna's great!

There was an article in todays Observer about the forthcoming 90 min special, co-incidentally, after my post yesterday! Here's a link:

But don't read it if you want the special to be a total surprise (though Gina's already spilled some of the beans)!

There's also a This Life quiz, which I'm about to do....

I got 7 out of ten too!

Let down by them music side of things but otherwise ok!

From the sounds of it there probably won't be another series but maybe (ala Friends) enough cash will be waved under noses that they'll commission another series

Only a few weeks to go - let's get Christmas outta the way and then it's decent telly time!

Yes they did smoke loads, didn't they! Funny seeing the cultural differences like that - probably wouldn't have even noticed the fags 10 years ago. The size of their phones was amazing too - and very rare to see mobiles (only one in the whole series I think...)

We saw this last night and thought it was so disapointing. Really badly scripted. Whereas the originals were all about everyday life, and to a greater degree believable, this was about anything but everyday life, and substantially unbelievable. :(

Kannie, I totally agree. What a load of pants. I was really disappointed - (I was before I saw it as I knew Ferdie wasn't in it)

I thought the story line was poor and I was bored after the first 20 minutes. It would have been far better to have seen the gang in their home environments, living the day to day stuff that made the original so watchable.

It was over-acted and the storyline was far too big (with limited detail) for the time scale. A simpler storyline, more detail and better scripting.

Less is more!

2/10
