Milliechick
Hello, I live on the border of Warwickshire and Oxfordshire, and I am looking to get some chickens. I love the Pekin Bantams, which I have found a few breeders of. But I am also looking for Silkies, and there are none to be found. Does anyone know of a breeder of these near me? Thank you

Milliechick
Hello, thank you for your advice. I'll give the Birdhaus a ring later. There are plenty of farms, it's a case of looking out for signs. Thank you for your welcome.
laurmurf
Jody at Raw Green Cottages has only 2 female silkies left, but is charging £25 EACH for them!
Redwing
Thats not too way off for good silkiesI would say £20 is about right though A high quality trio of silkies went for £450 at an auction last weekend there is a buyer's premium of usually 7% on top then VAT on top of that too!
