My friend has been after chickens for months, I've got them, then her neighbour got them but there were delays, she couldn't stretch to an Eglu so eventually her OH converted an old outside dog kennel and run and she is now the proud new chicken Mummy to two beautiful black Orpingtons - I had to go and have a nosey today and they are gorge! Lovely green sheen on their wings, not quite POL, she's getting another four hens but they don't arrive until Wednesday! I'm SOOOOOO pleased for her, now we can talk chickens all day long and everyone else can look at each other and go
