Dawno
Well after a long wait, waiting for cube then going on holiday today I finally collected my first chickens. I have Thelma & Louise, (names from the film, a Gold line & a Leg bar) Gerry & Alice (vicar of Dibley, a Devon Rock & a Blue maran) Romy & Michele (Film, same name, a Light Sussex & a Silver Sussex) picked them up at 5.30 and was advised to put them straight into the cube overnight to settle them in, cant wait to get them out in the morning !.... just like having a sealed box of chocs whilst on a diet.. Will post pics asap.

Dawno
e green) 1st day, sorry no pics yet, here goes. Louise the goldline was 1st out an hr later we shewed the rest of the mob out after a very quiet night. the Devon rock..Gerry, spent most of the day eating/drinking ( just like Gerry/vic of Dibley). also a few pecks at Louise, although she did get some authoritive checks from Thelma the Legbar. Anyway the day went quite smoothly, they all ate well and all used the water glug. Our old english sheepdog had a little run around the run this morning but not too bothered. Whilst cooking dinner we watched from the kichen windown and they all went in at about 7 o'clock, so fingers crossed another good day to come....and pics. Dawno
First egg today, think it was from Gerry the Devon Rock as it was pale green, so perhaps we can forgive her for being a bit bossy, 2nd night and they all bedded them selves by 7.10, waiting to see if we get another egg in the morning.
