Last month Andy clamped it to the economy seven cable to see how much power we are using at night, storage heaters, washing machine, chargers for mobiles, laptops and cameras all of which are used during the night. It also higlighted the fact that DS Jack had his bedroom heater on during the day when it was quite mild He was sat in his bedroom complaining of being cold with just a t shirt on I am terrible for switching on the kettle and then going off to do something so I have to reboil it again, it is frightening how much power a kettle uses so now I make sure I use the water as soon as it has boiled.
