Leicester_H
Cutting a long story short, we had Green Thumb treat our lawn with a herbicide on Tuesday. They said to keep children and pets off it for a few hours. I insisted that OH (who was there when they came) expalined that the chickens ate the grass (ie didn't just come into contact with it like other pets). They said to keep them off for 48 hours - they had had no problems with chickens. I was/am a bit concerned that they were going by past experience (how much?) and not by manufacturers recommendations. Does anyone know anything about this ? Thanks in advance, H
poachedegg
We use Green Thumb and sometimes the chickens are on it soon after and they're fine.
Ain't Nobody Here
That's a coincidence . I had a lady from Green Thumb round yesterday. She said keep them off for one hour after treatment. She said they have a few customers with chickens.
