The Dogmother
Well, I've not seen the series, but looking at those pictures, Bill gets my vote every time, which is probably just as well as the queue seem to be shorter .... but... he does have hair... Griffin, I like the dirty look too.
Griffin
Oooooo Claret you'd like Quinn the WereTiger, he's incredibly tall, built like a brick outhouse and he's bald! I don't think we'll see him in season 3 but I imagine he'll be worth the wait
The Dogmother
Are there any photos of him? ETA... found one... Not really my sort... too heavy and co"Ooops, word censored!" featured... Bill can be scrubbed and brought to my tent though... baldness is only a Bic away!
kitchens
I'm done in the shower if anyone else needs to cool down I am so sidetracked i'm beginning to neglect my husband and family. I've even sneaked upstairs with my laptop to peek at You Tube ... Better pull myself together and get a grip On the other hand .... just one more look! Griffin
Are there any photos of him? No, he's in the books. I've read that Charlaine Harris imagined him to look like Vin Diesel
Griffin
There's a good description of Quinn here: http://southern-vampire-mysteries.wikia.com/wiki/Quinn

Helly Welly
Are there any photos of him? No, he's in the books. I've read that Charlaine Harris imagined him to look like Vin Diesel Why didn't they get Vin Diesel then, is'nt that a picture of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson?? Eric just doesn't do it for me, too blond
The Dogmother
I think it said that he is called Dwayne summat.. not a name I love TBH. I agree about the blond bit Helly - they get dirty too quick
kitchens
Well blonde men aren't usually my type either and especially ones called Eric the Viking (how original!!) .... but he certainly has a way with the ladies and LOVE his voice
Griffin
It's not about his looks though for me, book Eric is thoughtful, caring, protective, loyal, witty, intelligent, honest, everything a good man should be and Alexander Skarsgard brings him to life very well. Although I hadn't read them nor even heard of the books before True Blood, they've been around for years and women have been lusting over book Eric for years too. He's amazing and I hold him in the same regard as Luke Alderton from the Jilly Cooper novels I don't normally go for blondes either, dark & handsome suits me very well so on looks alone I probably would prefer Stephen Moyer (Bill) but knowing book Bill like I do it has to be Eric every time. kitchens
The books do certainly portray his character in such an alluring way. He's perfect ... well so far anyway.

kitchens
Took me ages to work out how to resize the damn picture!! But worth it though. Now I get to look at him every day without it being too obvious to DH that I have lost the plot over a vampire. I think wallpaper on our home computer would be too obvious Going to watch episode 5 today ..... at least if I get that out of the way then I can at least get on with stuff!! Do you find with megavideo that it only gives you a certain amount of time? I get a notice on my screen telling me how many minutes I've watched and if I want to upgrade. Also I take it that 'they' are continually removing stuff because they shouldn't really be there in the first place?
Griffin
Yes, I paid up to be a member for a few months though because I use it to watch a few other programmes that are shown in other countries earlier than here. And yes, stuff gets moved because it's not supposed to be there in the first place
Helly Welly
Please don't give too much away of the plot, i've just finished book one and have only seen series one as OH likes it too so i don't want to watch it online without him. We'll wait for it to come back to channel 4. I was glad that book one was essentially series one as this means at least another 8 series
Griffin
If you've got Sky then you'll be able to see season 2 on FX next month.
Helly Welly
If you've got Sky then you'll be able to see season 2 on FX next month. Nope, just Freeview so i guess i'll have to be patient, something i'm so good at, NOT!!!
Griffin
Just to tease you there is a brilliant trailer for season 2 on the FX website here: http://www.fxuk.com/shows/true-blood "Trust me." *Griffin goes weak and the knees and falls over*
Hen Watch
Please don't give too much away of the plot, i've just finished book one and have only seen series one as OH likes it too so i don't want to watch it online without him. We'll wait for it to come back to channel 4. I was glad that book one was essentially series one as this means at least another 8 series I've only seen series 1 on C4 too. Can't wait for series 2. Just seen this on Wikipedia and I quote..... "third season began shooting on December 3, 2009. In January 2010, Alan Ball confirmed that there will be a fourth season of True Blood." FOUR whole series....... just brilliant...... do hope Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgård are still in it.

The Dogmother
I'm not sure about that Cathy - my boss has watched series 1 and 2 online and is now reading the books. He has just finished reading book 3 (I think) and says that they are quite different with things in a different order from on TV. Perhaps they just don't follow the same lines. kitchens
They are different - quite different but still both are very good in their own way and both genius . I do get a bit confused sometimes but I do anyway Eric is beautiful in books and on tv!
