coco
It must be sign that chicken keeing is definately catching on. Tesco Direct has a chicken house in its new catalogue. It looks quiet well made and is £300.

Space Chick
If they are selling chicken houses, maybe they will finally get it into their thick corporate skulls that people care about chicken welfare *She climbs off soapbox*
cluckingmad
*carefully borrows space chicks sopa box and hops on* Agreed!! Still disgusts me how much supermarkets can get away with - even "free-range" is no longer a full guarantee that the birds have had a reasonable life Did the maths the other day - even though our girls spend their days mostly in their run, the amount of space they have per hen is still more than the minimum legal requirement for free range birds. Grrrrrrrr. *steps off soap box, gives it a quick clean with poultry shield and passes back*
